How you can cultivate the energy for big changes in 2022

Whilst I’m not the biggest fan of new year resolutions, I am a huge fan of manifestation. This is a process that done right, is actually backed by science and not as woo woo as you may think.

I’ve written about manifestation before and it’s a topic that is extremely close to my heart because it is something that I’ve tried to practice far more intentionally over the years. It’s important to remember this isn’t about writing down outrageous wishes, closing your eyes and hoping they will happen. It’s about energy, focus and being very clear about what it is that you want. Here are my top tips for kicking your manifestation practice into gear.

Get Clear

This is the very first step. What is it that you are trying to do? What are you hoping to achieve? What are you willing to work for? Getting clear on what you want to call in is probably one of the most important things that you can do.

Now Clear out

Once you’ve settled on the things that you are looking towards, it’s time for a clear out. This is big and touches on every part of your life. Look at your physical space. Look at your mindset - what are the thought patterns and limiting beliefs that are holding you back. What are your energy drainers? Where are you spending your time? What is your sleep like? What’s your diet like? Where are you numbing.

Intention, Intention, Intention

What is your intention for 2022? Once you’ve got this (and it may take a few goes) then use this as your anchor. When you are doing things does it go with or against your intention? Use your intention to ignite you, to strengthen you, to propel you through the power of ‘why’.

Magical Rituals

Rituals are all around us and are outrageously powerful when you work with them. I’m talking about meditation, sleep, transition (morning/evening), relationship/connection and even work rituals that will enhance any day-to-day activities and make them both meaningful and something that you look forward to.

For me, I have a ritual when I run. I save up my favourite podcast, hat and headphones. When I meditate I use scent, my sheepskin and space. These small things have the power to make a huge energetic shift where you may have once struggled.

Big rock, little rock

Plan out your time and maximise your energy. If you know that you are trying to do then you need to make sure that you have the time and the space to make the steps you’ll need to. Where is your timing going now? What are the commitments that are currently holding you back but don’t need to? What can you drop, outsource or switch up? What are your non-negotiables?

These are just some of the biggest steps that you’ll need to make to grow that manifestation muscle, and it really is like a muscle. You need to develop it and grow it. Consistency is key when it comes to directing your energy to go after the things that you really want.
